Find out what you didn't knowabout your own shop.
Type your shop name and get a free audit in seconds — named findings with evidence, computed from your shop's real records, never an estimate. No account, no card. Connect your shop and every number becomes your actual order history.
- Built on Etsy's official Open API
- No automation — every change shows you the exact diff and waits for your confirm
- Your data is yours — never mined, never sold, export or delete it any time
- Disconnect in one click, from us or from Etsy's own settings
What the audit finds
Seven findings, each one checkable.
Every finding has a name and a definition, and the definition is printed next to it — so you can disagree with the finding on its own terms. No score, no grade, no letter.
Selling, but out of stock
connectedHow many listings buyers wanted this year but can no longer buy.
Definition. A listing whose state is sold_out and which made at least one sale in the trailing 365 days, from the shop's complete receipt history.
Never sold
connectedHow many listings have never made a single sale, certainly — not guessed.
Definition. An active listing with zero lifetime transactions in the shop's complete receipt history, created at least 30 days before the audit time.
Dead weight
connectedHow many expired and inactive listings are sitting in your shop unseen.
Definition. A listing whose state is expired or inactive.
Tag competition
Which of your listings are wearing near-identical tags and competing with each other.
Definition. Two active listings compete when they share at least 8 of Etsy's 13 tag slots (case-insensitive); clusters are connected components of such pairs.
Stale listings
How many active listings you have not touched in half a year.
Definition. An active listing is stale when its last_modified_timestamp is at least 180 days before the audit time.
Price spread
Which prices sit far outside the range the rest of your shop occupies.
Definition. Quartiles over active-listing prices; an outlier sits more than 1.5x the interquartile range below Q1 or above Q3.
Sales record
connectedWhat your shop actually earned, month by month, and when your good months are.
Definition. Revenue and orders by calendar month (UTC) from the shop's complete receipt history; best and worst over complete months; seasonality shown only with at least 13 months of history.
The free audit runs on your shop's public page, so it computes the three findings that need only your catalogue — plus a stand-in for “never sold” that is labelled as a stand-in, because a stranger cannot see your sales. The four marked connected need your own receipts and the expired and inactive listings the public can never see.
True, not estimated
A number that comes from your shop's own records cannot be wrong.
Tools that estimate your revenue from the outside are guessing — some publish their own ~80% accuracy. ShopAtlas doesn't estimate: with your permission it reads your shop's actual order history, so its numbers match your bank account.
Every finding carries its definition, and nothing is a score — a grade with no basis is a claim, and we don't make claims we can't check.
How it works
Three steps, and the first one is free.
- 1
Audit
Free, no account, nothing stored.
Type your shop name. ShopAtlas reads your shop's public page through Etsy's official API and computes the findings it can compute from outside — each one named, each one with the definition it was checked against. Nothing about a shop that hasn't connected is ever kept.
- 2
Connect
Your real numbers, and the recorder starts.
You approve five permissions on Etsy's own page — we never see your Etsy password, and there is no ShopAtlas password either: you sign in with Google or an emailed code. The audit is rebuilt from your actual order history, the expired and inactive listings appear, and from that moment ShopAtlas starts recording.
- 3
Record
$12 a month, per shop.
Every day, your whole catalogue is snapshotted: titles, tags, descriptions, prices, photos — kept as versions, for as long as you're with us, and joined to your real sales. Your AI can open a Review; you walk the red/green diffs and nothing reaches Etsy until you Confirm. The weekly digest reads the same Record.
The record
Etsy keeps no history. From the day you connect, we do.
Edit a listing and the old version is gone — there is no endpoint to get it back; we checked all 76. From the day you connect, ShopAtlas snapshots your whole catalogue, every day, by default — not 50 listings, not opt-in per listing, not a higher tier — and joins every version to your real sales.
- Titles, tags, descriptions, prices, and photos — a new version written whenever one of them changes
- Every version joined to your real sales, so the record and the receipts are one timeline
- One-click restore to any recorded version, after you read the same exact diff and confirm it

Safety and consent
Your listings are your livelihood. We treat them that way.
ShopAtlas asks for permission to edit your listings, and explains it rather than hiding it. Here is the whole of what that permission does — the same words you will read on the consent screen, before you grant anything.
Permission to edit listings
ShopAtlas never edits anything on its own. Every change starts with you, shows you the exact before-and-after, and does nothing until you Confirm. Your AI can propose many listings in one Review; you deselect what you will not risk. No scheduled edits, nothing while you're away.
We never ask for delete permission. ShopAtlas cannot delete anything in your shop, ever. Etsy has a separate permission for deleting listings; we deliberately don't request it, so that guarantee is enforced by Etsy, not by our good behaviour.
The counter starts at zero.
Every change ShopAtlas ever makes to your shop is recorded, marked, and counted — and you'll see the count in your settings from day one: "ShopAtlas has made 0 changes to your shop." It moves only when you click Apply on a change you've read. Most sellers' counters never move at all, and that's fine — the audit and the record don't need the write permission to be worth having.
You can disconnect in one click at any time — from your ShopAtlas settings, or from Etsy itself under Your Account → Privacy → Connected applications. Either one ends our access immediately.
No data mining, ever
Many seller tools pool your shop's data into market-research and trend products for other sellers — including your competitors. ShopAtlas never does. Your numbers exist to serve exactly one person: you. Never mined, never aggregated, never sold, never used for advertising, never used to train AI models.
Your buyers stay your buyers
When Etsy includes a ship-to name or address on an order, we keep it in your Record — encrypted, for you only — so you can see where an order went and so your own AI can analyse your shop. We do not have buyer email: that is a separate Etsy grant we have not been given, and we do not promise it. We never mine, sell, or show another seller your customers. A public audit stores nothing.
Your data is yours
Export everything in one zip, whenever you like, free on every plan — including after you cancel. Deleting it is a separate, explicit step: gone from our live systems within 7 days and from rolling backups within 30. Revoking access is not deletion, and we never confuse the two.
We never record a shop that hasn't asked
The free audit is computed on demand and stored nowhere. ShopAtlas keeps nothing about a shop that has not connected — no shadow history, no watching from a distance, nothing to opt out of.
Every permission we ask for is listed, in plain words, with the real Etsy scope handle beside it — on the connect screen you read before granting anything, and in the full scope-by-scope breakdown of how we use the Etsy API.
Pricing
One plan. The free audit is the trial.
$12 per shop, per month, in USD, with tax added where it is owed. No annual lock-in, no tiers, no trial period to forget about — you can see what ShopAtlas knows about your shop before you give us anything at all.
Free
$0
No card. Nothing held back.
- The public audit — any shop name, no account
- The full connected audit from your real order history — every finding, nothing metered
- Reviews you Confirm — walk the diffs, deselect what you will not risk, then Apply
- Export everything, one zip, always free

The record
$12/shop/month
Everything free, plus the thing that only exists if something is running every day.
- The daily recorder — your history being built, from connect
- Version history for your whole catalogue, unmetered, by default
- One-click restore of any listing to any recorded version
- The weekly digest
- MCP access — your own AI, reading your shop's real record
The way out, before the way in
Cancel any time, unaided. Recording stops at the end of the period you paid for; everything already recorded stays readable on your free account. Export is free on every plan, including cancelled accounts. Deleting your data is a separate, explicit step — gone from live systems within 7 days, from backups within 30.
Etsy keeps no history, so a month you are not recording can never be filled in later. If you come back, recording resumes from that day forward, and the gap stays visible on your timeline — because it is true.
$12 is less than the plans where this category sells you version history. It is not the lowest price you will find for an Etsy tool, and we are not going to pretend otherwise: what it buys is the whole catalogue recorded every day, rather than a quota of listings.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
- What do I get without signing up?
- A full audit of any Etsy shop by name, computed on demand from the shop's public page through Etsy's official API. It is not a sample or a teaser: it is every finding that can be computed from outside, each with the definition it was checked against. Nothing is stored — ShopAtlas keeps no record of a shop that hasn't connected.
- What changes when I connect my shop?
- Your numbers stop being what a stranger can see and start being what your shop actually did. The audit is rebuilt from your real order history, your expired and inactive listings appear, and the recorder starts keeping a daily copy of your catalogue. You approve the permissions on Etsy's own page — we never see your Etsy password — and there is no ShopAtlas password either: you sign in with Google or an emailed code.
- Will ShopAtlas edit my listings on its own?
- Never. There is no background automation, no unattended rewriting, and no AI quietly changing your shop. Every change starts with you, shows you the exact before-and-after, and does nothing until you Confirm. Your AI can open a Review of many listings; you walk the diffs and drop what you will not risk. Every write we ever send is recorded, marked as ours, and counted, and you can see that count in your settings from day one.
- Could ShopAtlas delete one of my listings?
- No — and not because we promise. Etsy has a separate permission for deleting listings and we deliberately don't request it, so a delete from ShopAtlas would be refused by Etsy itself. The guarantee is enforced at the permission layer, not by our good behaviour.
- Does ShopAtlas tell me whether an edit worked?
- It shows you what changed and what your numbers did afterwards, side by side, and it stops there. Attributing a sales move to one edit would mean claiming to have ruled out season, marketplace shifts and everything else you did that week, and we can't — so we don't. What we can do is keep the version you had before, so a change you don't like is one confirmed click away from being undone.
- What data does ShopAtlas access?
- Your own shop's listings (titles, tags, descriptions, prices, photos), shop stats, and your order history — including ship-to name and address when Etsy puts them on the receipt. That stays in your Record, encrypted, for you. We do not have buyer email (a separate Etsy grant we have not been given). We never mine or share your customers. Full details are in the privacy policy and the scope-by-scope breakdown at /api-usage.
- Who owns my shop's data — and what happens if I leave?
- You do. Export everything in one zip whenever you like: free on every plan, including after you cancel. If you cancel, recording stops at the end of the period you paid for and everything already recorded stays readable on your free account. Deleting your data is a separate, explicit step: gone from our live systems within 7 days and purged from rolling backups within 30, with billing records retained as tax law requires. We never mine your data, never aggregate it into market-research products for other sellers, never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never train AI models on it. Our only business model is your subscription.
- Does ShopAtlas comply with Etsy's API terms?
- Yes. ShopAtlas uses Etsy's official Open API v3 under Etsy's API Terms of Use, respects its rate limits, and follows its authorization model: you grant access through Etsy's own OAuth consent screen, and every listing update is one you explicitly approved — functionally the same edit you could make yourself in Shop Manager. Nothing runs unattended, and your data is used only to provide the service to you.
- Is ShopAtlas affiliated with Etsy?
- No. The term “Etsy” is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.
Your shop already knows. Go and ask it.
Type your shop name. The audit takes seconds, costs nothing, and needs no account — and if you never connect your shop, we keep nothing about it.
