Terms of service

Last updated: 11 August 2026

1. The service

ShopAtlas provides version history, change tracking, measurement, and seller-directed listing management for Etsy shops (“the Service”), operated from https://shopatlas.app. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your shop, your actions

The Service applies changes to your shop only when you explicitly confirm them. You are responsible for the content of any edit you approve, including compliance with Etsy's policies. While the Service stores previous versions and offers restores, you remain responsible for reviewing changes before confirming them.

3. Your data

You retain all rights to your shop's data. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process it to provide the Service, as described in the privacy policy. You may disconnect your shop or request deletion at any time.

4. Etsy relationship

The Service uses the Etsy API under Etsy's API Terms of Use and depends on the availability of that API. The term “Etsy” is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc. We are not responsible for changes Etsy makes to its platform, search algorithm, or API.

5. Billing

ShopAtlas is one plan, billed monthly per shop in USD, with tax added where it is owed. It can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period; recording stops then, and everything already recorded stays readable on your free account. We will always notify you before any price change affects you.

6. Acceptable use

You may only connect shops you own or are authorized to manage. You must not use the Service to violate Etsy's Terms of Use or API Terms of Use, to access data of shops you do not control, or to attempt to disrupt the Service.

7. Seller-authorised integrations

If you enable a ShopAtlas integration, you authorise ShopAtlas to provide the minimum data described on the integration screen solely to a destination you own or are authorised to control. A private integration key is a credential: keep it server-side, do not publish it in browser code, logs or downloadable files, and revoke it immediately if it may have been exposed.

You may not use an integration to access another seller's data, resell or redistribute Etsy API access or Etsy member data, build a general Etsy data service, bypass Etsy checkout, send unsolicited communications, or violate Etsy's terms or policies. A published catalogue contains only active listings you selected and already-public listing content. You are responsible for its selection, placement and editorial text.

A consuming destination must link purchases to Etsy, honour feed freshness and omission signals, and display Etsy's required trademark and non-endorsement statement. You may revoke a key or unpublish a catalogue at any time. ShopAtlas may suspend an integration to protect a seller, comply with law or Etsy's terms, or respond to suspected misuse.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”. This application is solely provided by ShopAtlas (the “Application Developer”). You acknowledge that Etsy, Inc. and its affiliates are not the Application Developer, do not provide the Service, and make no warranties of any kind with respect to the application or the data accessed through it. Measurements and findings are computed from your shop's data and cannot guarantee future sales or search performance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and limit our total liability to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable. On deletion of your account, your data is deleted from our live systems within 7 days and purged from rolling backups within 30 days; we retain billing records (our Stripe customer record and invoices) as required by accounting and tax law, as described in the privacy policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Contact: hello@shopatlas.app.
