ShopAtlas reads your own shop's listings and stats through Etsy's official Open API v3 to build your private history. That's it - connecting your shop changes nothing on Etsy.
Write access: only on your say-so
A listing is only ever updated when you review the exact before-and-after diff and click confirm - the same edit you could make in Shop Manager, just recorded and reversible. No bulk rewrites, no scheduled edits, no background “optimization”, ever.

Is it safe to connect my shop?
Yes. You authorize ShopAtlas through Etsy's official OAuth sign-in - we never see your password, and you can revoke access at any time from your Etsy account settings. Connecting grants read access; ShopAtlas only ever writes to a listing when you explicitly confirm a specific edit or restore.
Will ShopAtlas edit my listings automatically?
Never. There is no background automation, no bulk rewriting, and no AI silently changing your shop. Every change is drafted or approved by you, shown as an exact diff first, applied only when you confirm - and reversible afterwards, because every previous version is stored.
Doesn't editing a listing hurt its SEO?
Editing changes which searches a listing can appear in, and there can be a settling period of a couple of weeks - which is exactly why sellers are afraid to touch anything. ShopAtlas is built for that reality: it excludes the settling period from its measurements, compares your edited listings against ones you didn't touch, and keeps the old version ready to restore if a change doesn't work out.
What data does ShopAtlas access?
Your own shop's listings (titles, tags, descriptions, prices, photos), shop stats, and your sales totals - the minimum needed to build your timeline. We never access or store buyers' personal information, and your data is never shared with or sold to anyone. Full details are in the privacy policy.
Who owns my shop's data?
You do. The history ShopAtlas records is yours to export or delete at any time, and it exists only to serve you. We never mine it, never aggregate it into market-research or trend products for other sellers, never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never train AI models on it. Our only business model is your subscription.
Does ShopAtlas comply with Etsy's API terms?
Yes. ShopAtlas uses Etsy's official Open API v3 under Etsy's API Terms of Use, respects its rate limits, and follows its authorization model: you grant access through Etsy's own OAuth consent screen, and every listing update is one you explicitly approved - functionally the same edit you could make yourself in Shop Manager. Nothing runs unattended, and your data is used only to provide the service to you. We publish a full scope-by-scope breakdown at /api-usage.
When can I use it?
ShopAtlas is in development and onboarding a small group of early-access sellers. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when your spot opens - earliest joiners get founding-member pricing.
